Imperial (@ImperialHats) has quickly built a very engaged audience of nearly 30,000 followers on Instagram, but has recently noticed an increase in golf professionals and merchandisers using the social media platform to share and research successful retailing practices. The #NOTJUSTAHAT photo sharing Instagram contest ran from August 2nd – October 1st and was open to anyone who manages an official golf facility Instagram profile or any employee of a golf facility. To enter the contest each applicant had to follow these rules:

  • Post a photo of Imperial product displayed in your golf shop on Instagram
  • Follow @ImperialHats on Instagram
  • Use hashtag #NOTJUSTAHAT
  • Tag @ImperialHats
